A Guy into Boots, Leather, and Harleys

I am Booted Harleydude, just your average guy-next-door who enjoys boots, leather, uniforms and men who wear them. I am also into cowboys and bikers, riding horses since I was a kid and iron horses since college.

My partner and I live in the Maryland 'burbs north and west of of Washington, D.C. I enjoy riding my Harley-Davidson motorcycle in leather when I can. That explains the large motorcycle boot collection and variety of leather gear that I wear regularly, and share information about. My boot and leather life defines my core, but isn't all who I am. I also am a volunteer community leader and help out elderly family, friends, and neighbors.

I am a Marlboro smokin' cowboy at heart. I owned and rode horses in amateur rodeos and around the hills of "Kiamichi Country" in Southeastern Oklahoma in the past. That explains the large cowboy boot collection.

Since I don't own a pair of shoes, I wear boots all the time. In fact, I wrote a tutorial about boots and explanation of boot terminology for HotBoots.com. This website was created to help me catalog and index my boot collection and leather gear, and as a hobby.
