These are Dan Post model DP2982 boots. These boots have a ostrich foot in the common cognac color and have a broad square toe, which has become the marketing push by fashion choice for young men since about 2012.
These boots are lined with leather. They have what Dan Post calls a "stockman heel" at 1-1/8 inches in height, and are about 12 inches tall with traditional leather boot pulls on each side of the boot shafts. (The manufacture claim of 13-inch boot height does not quite measure up to a tape.)
The sole is a combination of butyl rubber and leather. This is a sole used for boots worn in working situations, though rarely do guys wear ostrich boots when working in dirty, dustry, and muddy environments. Oddly, there are 9 nails where the sole is attached to the foot where most good-quality boots have pegs. The boots are made in Mexico.
