I had heard a lot about Sendras, and now I know the boots that are so famous. I ordered them from Stompers Boots of San Francisco.
These are Sendra "Texan Classic" Cowboy Boots. They are made of black oiled cowhide leather with Spanish stitching. They are 12" tall and have an "L" toe, which is narrow but squared off at the tip. The heel is traditional Sendra, deeply underslung but only 1" high with a rubber heel pad. The rest of the sole is leather.
After having these boots for a few years, I have determined that the shaft is too narrow for my legs, so I do not wear them often. I plan to sell them on eBay sometime. They will fit someone else better than they fit me.
