Note: these boots are not for sale. The photos below are of my own boots that I wear regularly. Someone linked to this page from a Craiglist sale from Tuscon. However, to make it very clear, these are Chippewa Firefighter boots that belong to my personal collection and are not for sale.
I bought these Chippewa Firefighter Boots from Stompers Boots of San Francisco in October, 2007. The boots are completely leather lined, have an EPS steel toe, ANSI 75 steel bottom plate, Kush-N-Kollar, and Vibram lug sole. They are about 9" tall. The boots are designed in Station Boot style, like my cheaper Thorogood Station Boots. The unique design feature of these Boots is the center zipper in the front, which makes them easy to pull on and take off. The zipper insert has two side laces that when adjusted once, don't need to be fooled with again. These boots are my first choice to wear when I ride my Harley because they are so comfortable. Despite the leather lining, they don't get hot. I have worn them for very long days when riding my bike and my feet never hurt. This is why they are highly recommended on my check out my Complete Guide to Motorcycle Boots. If you visit the Stompers Boots website here, you will see a photo of my boots on their website. Order yours from Stompers today!
Great Boots for riding my Harley
I have been asked to show how to lace these boots. Detailed instructions and a diagram are on the Boots Wiki here. Images of the boots as laced are below.
