These Dehner patrol boots have a dress instep, meaning that there are no laces. Many cops in the area where I live wear boots like this. I ordered these boots through Stompers Boots of San Francisco.

These boots are made of "Voyager" leather, which is a type of leather that the Dehner Boot Company offers as a less expensive alternative to more expensive European calfskin. Because the boots are made of all leather, I do not worry about damage to a plastic shaft on stock Dehner patrol boots.

This pair of Dehners is size 11D with the 1" extra-wide calf. They are 18" tall. These boots have a Vibram® minilug sole and a standard single buckle on the top of the shaft.
