Someone wrote to me to ask if I had dual-use cowboy/biker boots like these made by Double H, model 4620. I looked at them, and found a great on-line deal, so I bought a pair in 2012.
These USA-made boots are 12 inches high, and are made of thick, durable leather. The boots are also leather-lined for comfort and durability. They have a 1-5/8 inch heel and a Vibram® 430 "minilug" sole -- good traction for use when riding a motorcycle. If you are a biker who is looking for a pair of cowboy boots that do not overstate, and have a durable sole perfect for motorcycling, these are the boots.
The only downfall is that the shaft is a little more narrow than similar boots made by others, and due to their stiffness, they took a long time to break in. But overall, they were great boots for the price (about US $130 in September, 2012).
