Station Boots

These Thorogood Station Boots were received as a gift while I was doing research about this type of boot for the Hot Boots Tutorial. They are about 8" high, have laces and a boot zipper. Once the zipper is laced in, you don't need to deal with laces any more. The soles are made of thick rubber tread, and are 1/2" thick, with a short heel. The soles are resistant to damage from water, oil, and chemicals. They're not waterproof, though (LOL!)

I've learned why the guys in the local fire station like them so much. They are exceptionally comfortable. I use them when I do work around the house and on houses that I renovate.
