Timberland boots are well-known and highly regarded as comfortable work boots. I found a good sale and bought myself a pair of the "Timberland Pro" series in January, 2010. The boots are 8" tall, have lug soles, steel toe, and a padded ankle collar. The color is "wheat." I wear them when I do home renovation work and for other projects around the house.
