These are a typical pair of U.S.-made Frye white-label harness boots. They have a square toe, harness straps, pull tabs, and are 12" high. The sole is nitrile rubber, which provides a little traction (but not that good) while operating a motorcycle. (Though these soles are far better than the leather soles on vintage Frye harness boots which provide no traction at all.) The heels are 1.5" high and have a steer imprint (a Frye mark). The shafts are unlined. I bought them in 1991. These boots are okay, but not a good value for the price (there are much better value short black harness boots available from other manufacturers.)
