These riding pants are called "Berliners" and were custom made for me by 665 Leather of North Hollywood, California, USA. These are my only pair of motorcycle pants that are not made of leather -- they are made of neoprene. I'm not quite the "rubber" guy, but man, my mind has changed. I got them as a 2009 Christmas present for myself when 665 had a "black Friday sale" in late November.
These pants fit tightly, custom-fitted to my specific measurements. They have a quilted saddle seat and knees, and have two vertically zipped pockets on the front. These pants ordinarly are made with a low-rise waist and button fly, but I had them made with a regular rise, which fit me better. I also requested a zip fly, because I have found that snaps wear out over time and unsnap when maneuvering my Harley. (Not good in public!).
The pants are generally made with a slightly flared bottom and rear zips to fit over boots. I had them made with zips on the lower inside of both legs, so they would fit like breeches and would be ideal for wearing with tall patrol boots over them (my preference.)
I often say that when you have custom work done, call the manufacturer and discuss your interests and options. They can usually do what you want, if they know your preferences. These pants are wonderful!
