Traditional Black Leather Biker Chaps

Yeah, so I'm a biker, ride a Harley, and enjoy wearing leather. I have a lot of different kinds of chaps. But when I'm out riding on a cool day, often I'll select these regular black leather biker chaps. I began my collection of this type of chaps when I got a pair from The Leathermaker in 1977.

The chaps shown here were custom made by Mr. S. Leather in San Francisco for me in 1996. They are made of very thick, durable, cowhide. While these have inside zippers, they also have a leather covering that prevents the zipper from scratching the paint on my bike, or my partner's legs while....

I wear them a lot when the weather is crappy or possibly muddy. These chaps have seen a lot of use and abuse and other adventures. They still fit great and will probably outlast both me and my bike.
