These gray leather riding pants were custom-made by Johnson Leather of San Franscisco at the same time and from the same thick 7-8oz. hide used to make my custom grey leather cop-style biker jacket.
Johnson Leather measured me in person, then sent me a canvas mock-up to wear and take photos. They adjusted the fit of the pants based on their observations from the photos, so the end result was a perfectly-fitting pair of leather pants for riding my Harley!
These pants have a zip-fly (preferred by bikers), two pockets on the front and two in the back. They are cut in the seat, thigh, and crotch to allow freedom of movement, required by bikers as they swing a leg over the saddle of the motorcycle, and for maneuvers like parking a big, heavyweight Harley. (That is, the pants fit loosely at the hips to allow free movement, unlike some fetish-leather pants which are designed for purposes other than motorcycle riding.)
The pants look long while I am standing, but are the perfect length while I am sitting on the Harley. The pants are not designed as breeches, so they are made to wear over boots. So much for all black leather: bikers can wear colored leather, too. These pants go especially well my grey leather shirt that I bought in 2009 from 665Leather.
