A Leatherman always needs at least one pair of just plain ol' regular black leather pants. These are my more expensive and better-made pair. I got them
while visiting Los Angeles from the Mr. S store that once was located near The Faultline bar (the store is closed now). I also have a less-expensive pair of plain black leather pants and there is a noticeable quality difference.
There is nothing fancy about these pants; just thick, unlined, black leather. They feel really good against my skin and are warm. They are so thick that I wear them over boots, and it seems that Chippewa Hi-Shines go best with these pants. I had a zipper installed in the fly to replace the original snaps which would open if I tried to ride my Harley with these pants on. I do not have that problem any more.
