Booted Harleydude's Boot Closet
I was born in boots. I wear boots all the time. I don't own a pair of shoes! I ride a Harley and wear a variety of motorcycle boots with my functional leather gear. When not riding my Harley, or when going to work or meetings, I wear cowboy boots. A complete list of all boots in my collection is here.
Scroll down for a view of my boot collection and how I store them. Because boots are an avocation as well as regular footwear, I move them around regularly from basement to bedroom storage areas, as well as on my feet!
Section 1: My basement boot closet. I built a small room when I finished our basement. There are built-in shelves against one wall, where I store 50 pairs of boots. There are 10 pairs of taller boots stored against the back wall, and 11 pairs of short boots stored on built-in shelves on another wall.

Section 2: My garage hanging storage. There are two bars against a wall in my garage, on which I have hung 14 pairs of boots that I don't wear as often.
Section 3: My bedroom closet. A quarter of one of my closets is dedicated to boots. 27 pairs fit on shelves and against the wall. I also have about ten pair of boots on the floor on the opposite side of the closet.

Section 4: Not pictured (yet)
I have about 17 pairs of boots that are stored in a few other places, such as my partner's closet. He occasionally wears my boots. I dunno, look under the bed or in the utility room, and you just might find the rest.
