Booted Harleydude's Harley
2008 Harley-Davidson FLHR (Road King Classic)
This bike handles very well due to its weight and low center of gravity, though it can be challenging to maneuver at slow speeds.
I have added a CB radio and a GPS to this bike to help me when I am leading group rides to avoid getting all of us lost. I also added motolights in the front and a full LED light bar in the back for added visibility.
I have not made any other changes to the bike -- it's great as it is. (I especially did not want the added weight of a larger engine displacement, or loud pipes.)
I enjoyed riding my Harley-Davidson FXDL (Dyna Low Rider) from 1994 - 2008.
Note: I always wear a helmet when I ride my motorcycle, even in states where helmets are not required by law. In the pics below, I may be sitting on my bike without a helmet, but I'm not actually riding it -- just posing for some pics.
