These Thorogood Station Boots were received as a gift while I was doing research about this type of boot.

These boots are about 8" high, have laces and a boot zipper. Once the zipper is laced in, you don't need to deal with laces any more. The soles are made of thick rubber tread, and are 1/2" thick, with a short heel. The soles are resistant to damage from water, oil, and chemicals. They're not waterproof, and do not have not Vibram soles, so the traction is not nearly as good as found on Chippewa Firefighter Boots (which are much better quality, and are made in the USA).

These boots were not being worn. I gave them away in January, 2015.
