Cinch Boots

Cinch Boots are made by a general but large boot manufacturing facility in Leon, Mexico. They are contracted for production by Miller International of Denver, Colorado.

Miller International began in 1920 as Stockman Farmer Supply Company, then in 1940 “farmer” was dropped from the name, then in 1950, “supply” was dropped, so this company was known as Miller Stockman.

Miller Stockman operated a western retail store operation in Denver, Colorado. It began to operate a mail order business through a catalog in 1990, and expanded to as many as 30 stores by 1999.

In 1996, the Cinch Boots brand was added to the offerings by Miller Stockman. The boots were (and are) made by a large bootmaking facility in Leon, Mexico. The boots feature lemonwood pegging for the soles and claim to be made of “premium leather.”

In 1999, the Miller Stockman Company was sold to Corral Boots. (History here.) However, the Cinch Boot Brand remained under the ownership of Miller International which has a business relationship with Boot Barn Holdings, which retails boots under companies by the names of Boot Barn, Sheplers, and Country Outfitters.
