Old Gringo Boots, based in Chula Vista, California USA, was founded in 2000 by Yan Ferry and Ernie Tarut. They decided to combine Yan’s bootmaking and design skills with Ernie’s 30 years of experience in leather manufacturing to create boots of superior style and quality. Old Gringo opened its first factory in the fall of 2000, and the first collection of original, vintage and retro styles was available six months later. Boot design styles range from traditional western, vintage, contemporary fashion, rock star, equestrian, and European vogue.
