The boots are handmade under the supervision of Walter Pye and Bob McLean (ref: McLean–see Legendary Boots). The name “YY” boots is a reference to a ranch in Texas by that name, owned by the Pye family since the 1880s. YY boots are custom made in El Paso, Texas.
