These are LAPG Coyote Classic 8" Side Zip Duty Boots that I bought in April, 2016, for US$50. That is about what these boots are worth since they are cheaply made by a no-name manufacturer in China for L.A. Police Gear (lapg.com).
Stated specs: Non-marking rubber outsole. Outsole is rope ready and has aggressive treading for climbing and hiking. Suede and ballistic nylon upper. YKK side zipper. Gusseted tongue. Reinforced lace eyelets, toe and heel. EVA Midsole. Moisture wicking lining. Removable EVA insole with shock absorbing forefoot and heel pads. Nylon laces. Non-metallic construction.
These boots are somewhat comfortable. One would think that sneaker-like boots would be as comfortable as sneakers, but they are not. After a few hours of wear, my feet hurt. That makes them okay for wear while mowing the lawn, but not for wear when riding a motorcycle.
What I particularly like about these boots is that once you lace them up, you don't have to lace them again. Zippers on the side make them easy to put on and remove.
These boots have a modified waffle tread. The soles pack in mud and are very hard to clean.
