Bespoke (Custom) Blue Patterned Suit

In 2023 when I fully realized what a custom suit would do for me, I went to a custom clothier shop in Washington DC, and had one made. I picked out the fabric, stitching, pockets, jacket lining, and much more.

The pick stitching along the edge of the jacket, shoulder, lapel and pockets adds a touch of class -- that's how you can easily tell the suit is custom made. The flat-front trousers do not have pleats or cuffs, as I prefer. The pants were hemmed to have a quarter break, so you can see my shoes, but not have the pants appear to be too short.

Before I went to the shop, I reviewed several videos and websites that helped me know what I would be asked to select, and determined just what I wanted (and didn't want.)

I was measured with a dress shirt, tie, and a pair of my best dress shoes from my vast shoe collection, so this suit would be perfect with my wardrobe. This fine wool suit makes me feel like a million bucks!

I wear this suit when I attend events or meetings when my best suit would make a statement. I wear other suits around the house and when I want to dress up in general. But I wear this custom suit only for the best occasions.

I enjoy wearing striped, paisley, solid, dotted, and leather ties.
