Double H Brown Harness Boots   I bought these distressed brown leather harness Boots in November, 2011, on a two-pair-for-one sale from Bootbarn. These boots are okay, but not outstanding. The shafts are tight and they are hard to pull on. They are about 12" high and are unlined. Update: Since I could not wear these boots and they had no resale value, I discarded them in February 2023.

Double H Black Harness Boots   I bought these oil-tanned black harness Boots I November, 2011, on a two-pair-for-one sale from Bootbarn. These boots are awful (I gave them away in 2013). The shafts are tight and they are hard to pull on. They are about 11" high and are unlined.

Chippewa Black Ostrich Harness Boots   I bought these Boots I November, 2011, on sale from Metboots. These boots are identical in style, appearance, and good construction as their brown brothers. They fit great, and look good with leather when I ride my Harley.
Bates Patrol Boots   I bought these boots in October, 2011, on an eBay auction. These boots are similar in style, appearance, and crappy construction as Chippewa Motor Patrol Boots. They fit okay and look good, but the cheap rubber sole does not provide much traction. They will work fine in dry weather when I ride my Harley.
Justin Work Boots   I bought these boots in September, 2011, when I was searching for a non-lugged sole pair of boots to wear when I do work in our back yard, which is sometimes wet and muddy. The soles of these boots are flat and do not have lugs, so I am less likely to get the soles all filled with mud. Very comfortable boots!

Lucchese Brown Goatskin Dress Cowboy Boots   I had ordered these boots before I found out that my twin brother gave me a pair in black (see below). These are very dressy and comfortable boots that I wore when I dressed up for work.
Lucchese Black Goatskin Dress Cowboy Boots   My twin brother bought these boots for me as a gift in August, 2011. I wore them with a suit at a formal reception in his honor. They are great boots and are very comfortable.
11" Chippewa non-steel engineer boots   I bought these boots from Stompers Boots in July, 2011 on sale. I like this style of boot because it's lightweight and great for hot-weather motorcycle riding. These are the traditional style that James Dean made popular in his movies.
All American Firefighter boots (model 400)   I bought these boots from Buds Work Boots in July, 2011 on a close-out sale. I like this style of boot to wear for hot-weather motorcycle riding. They are comfortable and great-looking tactical boots. This pair has an oil-tanned (dull) finish, compared with their shinier brothers.
Dehner Dress Instep Lug-soled boots   I bought these boots from Stompers Boots in June, 2011 and received them from the manufacturer in July. I like the comfort of Dehner boots, and the traction of lug soles.
All American Dress Instep patrol boots   I bought these boots from Buds Work Boots in July, 2011. I like this style of patrol boots with dress insteps (no laces) and was pleased to find that All American Boot Mfg. made them.
All American Firefighter boots (Model 401)   I bought these boots from Stompers Boots in June, 2011. I like this style of boot to wear for hot-weather motorcycle riding. They are comfortable and great-looking tactical boots.
Frye Lug-soled black campus boots   I received these boots from a cousin who didn't want them in June, 2011. He said that he thought that I could wear them while riding my motorcycle. The traditional smooth leather soles wouldn't work for that, but I had Vibram 100 lug soles added to them, so now they're good for that purpose. I can tell that new Frye boots are cheaply made as the leather is very soft and the leather lining is very thin.
Lucchese Classic Black Cherry Goatskin Dress Cowboy Boots   These are top-end Lucchese Classics that I bought in June, 2011, via eBay. These boots were fairly new, and I got them for a good price. They look great with dress clothes.
Boulet Black Harness Boots   These are traditional 12" black harness boots that should be a staple in every biker's boot closet. They are comfortable, cool, and great-looking.
Sendra Tall Brown Harness Boots   These Sendra Boots are 18" tall and have a 1-1/2" heel, and are made of soft cowhide. They have the classic Sendra "X" toe. The calf of the boots are tight (despite stretching) and the boots make odd clippity-clop noises when I walk in them. I am disappointed, and won't buy tall Sendra boots again. They look great, but are uncomfortable and make strange sounds. (I sold them in November, 2012, as I could not wear them.)
Short Black Frye Harness Boots   These are 8" black Frye harness boots with a big-lug double sole. I found them at the consignment shop of Stompers Boots when I visited San Francisco in mid-March. Cool biker boots!
Chippewa Ostrich Harness Boots   This is a unique design that I like: tough harness boots for the biker in me, and full-quill ostrich foot for the cowboy in me. Vibram mini-lug soles make them great for use on the Harley. Purchased through negotiation in March, 2011.
Belleville Air Force Tactical Boots   In February, 2011, I decided to get a modern pair of tactical boots worn by today's military men. These Belleville Air Force Tactical Boots are comfortable and are great when I have to do field work for my job. They are 8" tall, sage green, and feature a side zipper so you only have to lace them up once.
Tony Lama Oryx Ostrich Cowboy Boots   I bought these boots using a discount certificate that I got from Tony Lama for participating in a contest they were running in February, 2011. These are traditional cowboy boots with full-quill ostrich foot and leather shafts. The color is called "oryx" which is a light tan. Very nice-looking additions to my collection.
Chippewa Non-Steel Engineer Boots   My buddy Mike of Stompers Boots was offering a great sale in January, 2011, on one-of-a-kind Chippewa Engineer Boots without a steel toe. I have an older pair that has seen a lot of mud; I got a newer pair.
