Milwaukee Leather Distressed Brown Harness Boots: I bought these boots on a dramatic sale for about US$60 in September, 2018. These boots are cheap and made in Pakistan. The odor from chemicals used to make them has caused me to put them in an outdoor shed to air out. Remember, products sold by LeatherUp.com are cheap for a reason -- good looks but poor quality and craftsmanship. March 2020 update: Finally posted a page about these boots in March 2020.

Tecovas "Wyatt" Desert Ostrich: I bought these boots in December, 2018. I like Tecovas boots now that I know how to get them to fit me. (Ordering a full size larger.)
Tony Lama Teju Lizard square toe boots: I bought these boots from Sheplers when they were being discontinued and the price was marked down dramatically. The color (called "antique tan") will go well with dark blue denim jeans. These will be cool boots to wear to the office and around town.

3DM Lifestyle jodhpur dress boots: I bought these dress boots on a dramatic sale in November, 2018. I've always liked this style of dress boot. These boots went well with what I wore to the office. I discarded them in July 2020 after I retired and began downsizing my dress footware no longer needed. |
3DM Lifestyle two-tone camel/brown balmoral dress boots: I bought these dress boots on a dramatic sale in November, 2018. These boots went well with what I wore to the office. I discarded them in July 2020 after I retired and began downsizing my dress footware no longer needed. |
Taft Irwin dress boots: I bought these dress boots on a dramatic mark-down sale in November, 2018. These boots were donated to Good Will in January 2021 because I was not wearing them. |
Allen Edmonds First Avenue Boots, Brown: I bought these boots on closeout in December, 2018. I like Allen Edmonds Boots. These boots become my ninth pair of Allen Edmonds Dress Boots and my 13th pair of Allen Edmonds Boots. 26th pair of Allen Edmonds footwear overall.
Chippewa Firefighter boots: I bought this pair of my favorite boots to wear when riding my Harley when I mistakenly believed a rumor that the production of these boots had been discontinued. I bought this pair of Firefighters to have another pair before the supply was depleted. Fortunately, the rumor was proven incorrect -- these boots are still in production.
Intapol Road Boots Boots: I bought these 17-inch high-shine engineer boots from Intapol on sale in November, 2018. They mimic the Chippewa hi-shine boots, but have a larger calf circumference. These boots fit and feel great, though it is obvious they are cheaply made.
Embossy American Patrol Boots: I bought these high-shine strapless motorcycle boots on a flash Black Friday sale on November 24, 2018. I have always wanted a pair of high quality made-in-Spain Embossy boots.
Tecovas "Johnnie" Suede Cowboy Boots I bought these Boots I November, 2018. They are super-comfortable, well-made boots that are made of water-resistant suede. They are dark brown (called "mocha" by the manufacturer.)
Allen Edmonds Dalton Dress Boots I bought these boots on sale in October, 2018. These boots are 7" tall and look great with dress clothes. They add to my collection of Allen Edmonds Boots.
Brooks Brothers Golden Fleece Dress Boots I bought these boots on a dramatic mark-down sale in June, 2018. These boots are 8" tall and
have a Dainite rubber sole. They are very comfortable, though clunky.
Wilcox Shiloh work boots Ordered from: Wilcox Boots, Salt Lake City, UT. These boots are marketed as comfortable motorcycle boots, but they are far from being either. The boots are made in Mexico and are sold direct-to-consumer to cut out middle-man price mark-up. However, these boots are uncomfortable, and also have cheap two-piece glued-on lug soles, so they are not nearly as well-made as boots with a full Vibram lug sole. Bought them in January, 2018, and trashed them in January, 2021.
Justin Keaton Cowboy Boots I bought these USA-made boots on sale in December, 2017. I finally had time to take photos and post a page about these boots in January. These traditional knock-around cowboy boots are very comfortable. They have a rubber sole, so they are great for wearing in muddy or wet conditions.
