Harley-Davidson Boxbury 7-inch motorcycle boots. I bought them on sale for less than $50, and that is about what these cheap Chinese-made boots are worth.

Merrell Tactical Waterproof Boot. I bought these boots on sale and for cheap in June, 2017, before I went on my motorcycle adventure in Utah, thinking I could wear them while on that trip. However, these boots do not have oil-resistant soles, so they are not suitable for wear while operating a motorcycle. I wear them for walking and hiking.

I really like Allen Edmonds Boots and Daltons in particular. These boots look good with dress clothes that I wear to the office.

Ranch Road Yoakum County boots    I received these boots in late August, 2017, after a dialogue with the owner of the company that makes these boots. The boots look and feel great, and have a traditional western boot design. They are made in Spain of good quality leather and are handcrafted. These boots are great to own and wear among my traditional western boots.

Chippewa Firefighter Boots2017 Chippewa Firefighter Boots    I received these boots with my uniform with the Fire Department with which I serve in August, 2017. I love these boots for their comfort and rugged-looking style, as well as their exceptional Vibram lug soles. I have worn boots like this while riding my Harley since 2007. I wore out the most recent pair that I bought in 2012, so this pair replaces the old ones.

Allen Edmonds Dalton Black dress boots. I bought these boots on sale at an Allen Edmonds outlet in August, 2017. These dressy boots look great and go well with clothes that I wear in my office. I especially like the Dainite rubber soles that give good traction on wet pavement.

3DM Lifestyle Sequoia Boots I bought these boots on sale in July, 2017. These boots were interesting for me because they are dressy yet inexpensive. Reason for that is that the boots are made in India with cheaply-sourced leather. The boots are okay, but have a very stiff sole that claps when I walk in them. I discarded them during downsizing in 2020. They were crap.

Luccese "Liam" dress boots I bought these boots in July, 2017. These boots were great because they looked good with clothes that I wore to work, and also had a Vibram lug sole so they worked with my motorcycle commute, too. They were made of soft calfskin leather and were comfortable. I sold them in July 2021 because I was not wearing them.

Allen Edmonds Gold Sturgis Boots I bought these boots on sale in July, 2017. They were seconds, and noted by the dye job being different on each boot. But for an American boot that is well-made by a company that is known for making fine dress shoes of which I own a number of pairs. These boots are great for knockin' around the house and the neighborhood. They also have a Vibram lug sole, so they will work with the Harley, too.

Roper Mens Snip Toe American Flag Boot I bought these boots on sale in May, 2017. They are made of distressed leather with American flag details. Snip toe. Stacked heel. Pull tabs. 13" tall. They were cheap; what can I say?

Chippewa Hi-Shine 11E. I placed an order for these boots in July, 2016, and they were backordered forever. In May, 2017, I canceled the long-overdue backorder, and for just $10 more, found exactly the pair that I wanted. These boots are wider in the calf and fit me better than my older pairs of this same boot.

Allen Edmonds Dalton Oxblood dress boots. I bought these boots on sale in March, 2017. These dressy boots look great and go well with clothes that I wear in my office.

Tecovas leather "desert calf" cowboy boots. I bought these boots in February 2017. These are all-leather boots, made in Leon, Mexico, by an unknown bootmaker whose slack was taken up by an entrepreneur based in Austin, Texas. These boots were inexpensive and are well-made with pegged soles and quality craftsmanship. Note: I was able to return this pair of boots to Tecovas in February 2020 in exchange for a pair in my correct size. This first pair was 10D and were too tight. The replacement pair is in size 11D and fit great.

Allen Edmonds Walnut First Avenue cap toe dress boots. I bought these boots and their black brothers (below) on a 2-for-1 sale in early January, 2017. These dressy boots look great and go well with clothes that I wear in my office.

Allen Edmonds Black First Avenue cap toe dress boots. I bought these boots and their brown brothers (above) on a 2-for-1 sale in early January, 2017. These dressy boots look great and go well with clothes that I wear in my office.

Big-ass Intapol patrol boots. Size 12, extra large calf. Black leather with zippered rear seam and leather lined shaft, oil resistant lug sole and heel, adjustable at instep and calf. The patent features plastic stays sewn into rear seam along each side of the zipper. Bought them big to wear with thick leather jeans tucked into them. Finally leathered up and took pics with them in November, 2021!
